The original Mini didn't
work as I had hoped. The worm-drive motors weren't responsive
enough for Mini to respond well to the line. So I set out to remake
Mini with a better drive train and a microcontroller. Since I had
Arty for basic line following, I decided to make Mini2 my entrant for
Advanced Line following.

The Design
The DevBoard-M8 is the perfect controller board for a line follower.
The M8 has plenty of ADC inputs, allowing me to read the variable output
of the 5 IR sensors directly. This also allowed Mini 2 to
auto-calibrate it's sensors which helps compensate for onsite variations
in light and track texture.
